Bill Griswold serves as Chair of Vistage groups in the Charlotte NC area. He is a results-oriented leader with over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, business management, start ups, acquisitions, P&L responsibility and operations. His expertise includes a strong focus on enterprise-wide integration, workflow enhancements, product development, and strategic outsourcing to consistently deliver improved performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
He is experienced with a broad range of organizations, from start-ups to publicly traded companies. He has expertise in strategy development, family business issues & dynamics, benchmarking, restructuring, operational improvements, and business model evaluations. He has held a variety of management positions up to President and CEO.
Mr. Griswold has served as a corporate director for a number of publicly and privately held firms. He has held various board level leadership positions including Vice Chair (Lead Outside Director), audit committee chair, and executive compensation committee chair for a publicly traded financial institution with over $2 billion in assets.
Mr. Griswold attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he majored in Business Administration. He has taken advanced courses in Telecommunications at the University of Kansas and in Management at Rochester Institute of Technology. He has studied the following professional course work: Total Quality Management, Family Business Dynamics, Economic Decision Making, Executive Management Training, and Performance Management.
